I decided to try to do one loose landscape/plein air painting every weekend - both as a break from my tightly detailed works and as practice to improve my backgrounds on my wildlife art. Would prefer most to be plein air paintings - but last weekend I had no gas to go out painting. So with that in mind, this is my painting for last weekend
